Project Overview

Floor renovation inside an occupied hospital

rcRussell delivered a complete 7th-floor renovation creating a 25-bed long-term acute care (LTAC) unit within the CareOne LTAC Hospital at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, 225 Williamson Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey. The work was performed inside a fully operational hospital environment — every decision filtered through the constraints of infection control, patient acoustics, life-safety system continuity, and adjacency to active care floors.

Healthcare construction does not tolerate the kind of improvisation that other markets sometimes accept. Hospital interior renovations require ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) protocols, negative-pressure barriers, after-hours work windows, and constant coordination with facilities and clinical staff. The CareOne engagement showcases the rcRussell discipline that this kind of environment demands.
